We’re Allen & Cerries - founders of Scaly Safari, and legal guardians of over thirty species of exotic animals.
We might know the difference between a thermostat and a heat mat now, but we were beginners once too.
We remember what it felt like to realise you’re suddenly responsible for a reptile’s care - and the mild panic that comes with not really knowing what you’re doing.
We’ve come a long way since then (and made plenty of mistakes along the way), but we still speak to new reptile owners every week - and the same thing comes up again and again: that feeling of overwhelm, and the need for reassurance that the basics of daily reptile care are being covered.

You can switch between animals easily, and add your own daily tasks if you need to - just enough flexibility (and accountability) without turning it into a system.

Stay on top of one-off reptile care tasks
The To Do tab is there for everything that doesn’t happen every day - things like changing a bulb, picking up food, or any of those reptile care tasks you don’t want to forget, but don’t need sitting in your head all the time.
You can add tasks as they come up, tick them off when they’re done, and keep everything in one place instead of scattered across notes, reminders, or mental lists.
It’s not trying to organise your whole life. It just gives those one-off or occasional jobs somewhere to live, so they’re easy to keep track of as part of your reptile care routine, without becoming overwhelming.
Organise your reptiles in one place
The Animals tab is where everything is set up for each of your reptiles, so you can keep all of their care details in one place. You can create a simple profile for each one, add a photo, and switch between them easily when you need to.
Things like age update automatically in the background, so you’re not having to keep track of it yourself. If anything changes, you can edit or remove profiles at any time — it’s all flexible and easy to adjust.
It’s a simple way to keep your reptiles organised, so each animal has what it needs without adding any extra effort to your daily reptile care routine.

The Journal tab gives you a simple place to note things as you notice them. Whether it’s something about behaviour, feeding, shedding, or just a quick photo you want to keep, it all lives in one place as part of your reptile care notes.
You can tag entries so they’re easy to come back to later, but there’s no pressure to keep it perfectly organised. It’s there when you want to jot something down - not something you have to keep up with.
Over time, it becomes a handy record of your reptile’s behaviour and day-to-day care, without you having to think too much about it.

The Reference tab is there for those quick moments where you just want to double-check something. Temperatures, humidity, feeding guidance — the key parts of your reptile care, laid out simply and specific to your reptile.
