Our care home visits are calm, consent-led experiences designed to meet residents exactly where they are. Sessions last 45–60 minutes and take place in a communal space such as a lounge or activity room, with a small, carefully chosen group of reptiles selected for their calm temperament and suitability for care environments.
There is no expectation for residents to take part in any particular way. Some enjoy gentle interaction or close observation; others prefer to watch, listen, or simply be present. Watching is participation, and curiosity is always enough. Each session is guided by the energy in the room, lingering where there is interest and slowing naturally when needed.
Reptiles offer a uniquely effective experience in care settings. Their calm presence and slow, deliberate movements encourage residents to pause and observe without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, often sparking quiet conversation and memory-sharing. We bring a calm, experienced, and fully insured approach to every visit, with resident comfort and animal welfare at the heart of everything we do.
Pricing & payment
Our care home visits are offered at a standard fee of £95 per visit.
This includes preparation, delivery of a calm, fully supported session, and the care and welfare of our animals. Sessions typically last around 45–60 minutes.
The standard fee covers visits within our local area. For longer journeys, a travel supplement may apply — we’ll always confirm this in advance.
We invoice following confirmation of your booking. Payment is due within 7 days, or prior to the visit for short-notice bookings.
